Die Vereinigten Staaten sind schon seit Jahren faktisch bankrott. Der totale Zusammenbruch wird nur noch durch das US- Repräsentantenhaus verhindert, dass von der Regierung alle paar Monate dazu genötigt wird, die Schuldenobergrenze erneut anzuheben. Das Problem mit den Schulden wird dadurch aber nicht gelöst, sondern lediglich aufgeschoben.

Washington steht also mit dem Rücken zur Wand. Es bleiben zwei Möglichkeiten. Erstens: Man unternimmt nichts und wartet schlichtweg auf den endgültigen Crash, der die USA wahrscheinlich innenpolitisch im Bürgerkrieg versinken lässt. Zweitens: Man tut das was was man in dieser Situation immer getan hat und setzt alles auf eine Karte, indem man versucht einen globalen Krieg vom Zaun zu brechen und die Welt in Schutt und Asche zu legen, um das mörderische Zinseszins-Spiel im Nachgang zu reseten, sprich neu zu starten.

Da kommt Russland als potentielles Opfer gerade recht. Denn der russische Präsident hat alles, wonach der Westen giert. Und damit sind nicht die hohen Beliebtheitswerte von Wladimir Putin im In- und Ausland gemeint, sondern die schier endlosen Ressourcen über die Mütterchen Russland verfügt.
